Kinessage® Release Your Pain Self-Care System

– Segment 4: Back/Torso Freedom –

Introduction & How to Apply

Follow this FIRST to maximize your results. Have fun partnering with your body. It is listening and ready to release your pain and tension and to move more freely!

Range of Motion Assessment for Back/Torso

Do this first to get your starting point for your back and torso level of pain and range of motion. After completing the Segment movements come back and retest to note your improvements and help your body remember them.

1 - Lumbar Flex & Extend

Stiff bending forward or getting up out of a chair? Reset your back with this one anytime.

2 - QL Lean-In

Back pain bending sideways or above your hips? Increase your comfort and flexibility.

3- Low Back Release

Release that hitch in your get up and go. Just be sure to LISTEN to your body and stay within your range of comfort when doing it. (Remember - be kind and partner with your body.)

4 - Abs Twist

Open up your abs to increase your flexibility and make your back happy too.

5 - Psoas Release

Be sure you are laying on your back with bent knees up and feet planted. Just pick up your foot about an inch off the bed or floor to activate the psoas under your fingertips. Be kind with your touch. If you have back issues they can be tender, often the opposite side. See what a difference this move can make for you.
